Fabulous but Struggling: Breaking up

There comes a time in all of our fabulous lives when ... yes we break-up. Sometimes we just grow apart, sometimes we want something more, and sometimes we just deserve better.

It takes strength and time to really get over someone and one night stands/ random hook ups actually just cloud your head even more. The best thing to do is to spend time alone, a lot of time alone and surround yourself with good real friends, people who actually love and support you. Use all the tension and pain (and honestly the extra energy you were always wasting on the one who never cared), and accomplish something, get a new job, or take up a challenge. It is a get way to get your mind off the problems and for some reason we women are motivated when hurt is behind us.

The saddest part of a break-up is losing your friend. No matter how the relationship ended, there was good times. You cant spend so much time with someone and not have a friendship. And its when your alone and its late you miss them most, Writing this now makes me second guess if it should really be over, but when your told to never contact them again and that they could care less about you ITS TIME TO LISTEN TO YOUR HEAD AND NOT YOUR HEART. A heart can be weak, but the head is always strong.

Every relationship I have ever experienced has taught me a lot, lessons that only make me a better person. I have realized that there are many different kinds of loves that will enter your life. Your first love, a bad love, a complicated love... but whatever kind of love it is, take full advantage of it. Because love, well its a hard thing to hold on too. Eventually all the pieces fall into place….until then, laugh at the confusion, live for the moment, and know that everything happens for a reason.

I got to thinking about relationships. There are those that open you up to something new and exotic, those that are old and familiar, those that bring up lots of questions, those that bring you somewhere unexpected, those that bring you far from where you started, and those that bring you back. But the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you can find someone to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous.
