This Holiday Rock the Red Lip

This holiday one thing every girl must try is the "Red Lip", its such a powerful and bold look. They say  heels and red lipstick can put the fear of god into people :) I prefer a shade that has a slight orangey undertone, but every skin tone is different. I suggest going to your local department store and try out a few different shades to find your best match!

This fall make sure that you have a black leather jacket. There are tons of style, cuts, and lengths these jackets come in. Invest in something classic because it will last you longer then a trendy one and for my fashionistas really pump up the volume by sporting one in lipstick red or cobalt blue.

Lexi's Top Fall Picks

Wondering what to do with all the "Fall" trends being thrown your way?? Well with every season comes tons of new "must have" items. I have picked my top 8 that I believe every fashionista should have in her closet.

1.) The Plaid Shirt- Dress it up or down or wear it layered or by itself... whatever you do, your options are endless. This is a MUST have for this season.

2.) Round Sunglasses- Making its come back and a harder shape to pull off. I suggest getting a great pair at like Target for 2 reasons. One they will look like designer shades and two... they will be 1/10 of the price.

3.) Military Style Bootie- Invest in something comfortable and flat. I do not suggest the platform versions of these for your everyday life. Luckily too, flats are in!

4.) Small Side Bag- Huge totes are a thing of the past. These chic little pieces are great in staple colors or make a great statement piece in a bright.

5.) Turbans- LOVE LOVE LOVE these. I suggest finding a Pink Pewter retailer and get your hands on these asap!

6.) Mixed Media Jackets- Super on trend. Make sure to get one that incorporates leather too! As thats a great way to mix a little harsh into our feminine looks.

7.) Nails that Pop- Of course we need color on our fingers this season. (It makes our jewelry pop more duhh!!!) 

8.) Gold Watch- Enough said... just get one already ;)

After being MIA for far to long, I thought it was time to get back to my "Lexi in the City" self. As with everything time brings big changes and since my last post in APRIL... so much has changed.

Lets see since then I have...

-MOVED BACK TO MISSOURI (I know crazy right)

-TRAVELED

- Got a promotion

- Started a business

-Made some $$$

So to say the least things have been a little crazy but to be honest I wouldn't have it any other way. I have learned so much about myself, my talents and about who I really want to be. Ladies and gentleman I can finally say I ACTUALLY LIKE WHO I AM BECOMING. It took almost 25 years to get to this point in my life but things are starting to look up. I might eventually add some past posts of things that were really cool... or I may just pick up and bring you up to speed on whats going on now :)

So now its time to get back to all things fashion and fabulous. Ohh and lets not forget the LOVE part, because little Miss Lexi might have just met her match.
