Trend Mint: the Lexi way
You can never go wrong with polka dots
I have an obsession with MK purses and this one is on my must have list for the season!
bangles are a great way to stay trendy, they are subtle and price conscience
of course nail color is also a great way to add some pop in your wardrobe without stressing your budget. And this color looks great on the feet and hands!
and im totally in love love love with these shoes... For the ones not so bold to try the mint shade, they come in a lovely neutral as well ;)

Spring Obsession: Coral Lips
The coral lipstick trend has rivaled the fuchsia lipstick trend ever since magazines, designers, celebrities and Beauty-fanatics started to decree which looks would be hottest for spring 2012. Where fuchsia lipsticks often have a blue tint base, coral is on the opposite end with the orange/yellow tint which is highly flattering for olive skin tones; the blues tend to look better on fairer complexions. Softer, peach-hued varieties are more subtle and forgiving on all skin tones. Pair this look with natural eyes and a faint coral-red cheek for a fresh-faced look perfect for spring 2012!

For the fashionista on a budget!
What is the easiest way to convert your winter skinnys into a fresh spring look? By simply rolling them up!
I like to roll mine up 2 times to give more of the "clam digger" look, but style is all about adding your personality to it!

Spring 2012 TOP 10 Clothing Must Haves
1.) Fancy Pants- Spring trends are popping up and I’m loving the colored denim featured as one of the hottest trends this season! At first, I resisted the trend, but then a friend encouraged me to try a pair. I’m now the proud owner of a pair of cobalt skinny jeans. Another pair is on its way to my closet – I can feel it! It will not be in the blue/green family; maybe yellow, fuchsia, or tangerine tango.
2.) Color Blocking- How to color block! Make bright, right! Colorblocking involves the use of two or more colors within one outfit. Essentially, you want to place solid colors next to one another. Pairing a bright color with a darker color is the safest way to color block and you can be sure that it will keep your outfit looking polished. You do not want to overdo it with a bunch of colorful pieces. Color blocking is fun, but you need to be careful; stick to a maximum of three different colors at once! Colorblocking can be confusing, but you can make it easier for yourself by purchasing pieces that colorblock within themselves, that way the work is already done for you.
3.) Pleats Please- This prep trend is all the rage. Shirts, blouses, skirts, dresses, ect! This season we witnessed the use of pleats in all colors and styles at NYFW. Christian Siriano's elegant maxi-skirts paired with simple tees blew us away, particularly a high-waisted pleated citrine number. Luca Luca's Bianca Jagger inspired collection played with delicate pleats and polka-dots while Rachel Zoe took her signature '70s route with the trend.
4.) Pretty in Sheers- This trend is sexy yet sweet. Exposing just the right amount of skin without being too trashy. But please do remember this trend is an easy one to mess up. For best results follow the examples on the collage above.
5.) 1950's HouseWife- A retro 50s housewife style made recurring appearances this season and while most designer stuck with a cinched waist silhouette, fabrics, prints, and colors spanned the aesthetic gamut.

6.) The Caftan- Spring 2012 was all about movement and freedom. No more constricting fabrics cutting off circulation. No more saying swearing off steak. Designers have heard our cries—they sent out loose dress after loose dress this Fashion Week. Consider this the season of the chic caftan (and long tunic!), where the old, flowing robe has more definition, more style, and far more personality.
7.) Sporty Chic- Throw on your favorite sport team top and your ready for the day! Not to mention the guys will be loving this trend, whats better then his favorite girl wearing his favorite team. Double win :)
8.) Tangerine is the New Neutral- Pantone named it color of the year and I so agree, this bright and vivid hue is the freshest way to inject color into your spring wardrobe.
9.) Neon- With spring in full force tomorrow it's time to whip out the neons. This springs hottest trend will be blinding green's and pink's galore. Neons are an essential for every fashionista this Spring. Whether it be for work or fun, neons are great transitional pieces for your everyday wardrobe.
10.) The Cardigan- Because you never know how the weather will vary, always have a handy dandy cardigan with you.
