Today was a long shoot 9-6. It was a great one. So glad to work with Model Elena Besser, who also hosts celebtv.com. Tyler Kaschke and Jon Hamblin were in charge of photography and video taping. Of course designs all by Kristin Hassan and styling by me Alexis Noel Sullivan ;) More pics to come...

So much fun being me

So much fun tonight at the pop-up launch at 900 N Michigan! Sipped on Vitamin Water Zero and Svedka cocktails, then enjoyed some great goodie bags! Hanging out with my two fav things, fashion and cocktails! What a night. I had totally forgot to get a ticket and right before the event I went online and it said " Ticket sales ended at 5pm and tickets can only be bought at the door. So what did I do, Put on my little black dress, some thigh high flat boots (not trashy classy ;) threw on my Betsey Johnson coat and took a cab anyway. As I walked up and explained my story, I remember a thing called name dropping lol. And when she asked me my name I said " Oh im Alexis with Kristin Hassan" and just like that I was let in. This job def has its perks and I just saved $25.

At only 23 years old, Kristin Hassan is already a successful designer and businesswoman. After graduating from the Illinois Institute of Art, Chicago in only three years, Kristin Hassan began her own label, organiK Revolution, where she specializes in creating eco-friendly apparel for contemporary women. Born and raised in Chicago, Kristin Hassan draws her inspiration from both the city and her rock-star family. Her husband and two brothers are in local Chicago bands, and Kristin Hassan likes to describe her style as feminine and fun with a rock-n-roll edge. Often considered "headstrong" by her friends and family, Kristin Hassan says she knows who she is and what she is capable of. Kristin Hassan may be young, but that will not stop this rising Chicago star.

A Closer Look

Here is a closer look of two of mine designs. Featured is the famous hooded Showtime dress. This dress is sexy and glamorous with an edge of sporty. Backless it keeps it sexy, while the hood adds a bit of relaxed-ness to it. Pair with cute high tops or heels and kill it ;). (Sold for $205 S-M-L) This jacket is one of my favorite shapes right now. Pair with jeans or a little black dress. I love having pieces that are easy to dress up or down. I feel you get sooo much more wear out of them. (Sold for $190 S-M-L)

Here is my concept for a line Windy City Pretty. Its one of my first lines I started. Its funny to watch as you grow as a designer. What changes, what stays the same. I would still rock any of these pieces today haha. Too cute

Why I am starting a blog...

My name is Alexis Noel Sullivan. I grew up in missouri, in a great home with a great big family. I had a normal high school life but always felt like I wanted something more. Missouri just wasnt cutting it for my dreams and I. After graduation I went to college and moved to Chicago with my best bud Topher, leaving behind my best girly in the world Christa. After three years of city life, heartbreaks, and too much fun... I thought hey why not blog about it. My life has to be a little more interesting then those Jersey Shore people right haha, and if not then just consider this a memoir to myself. Documenting the best times of my life. After severing most ties with the person who I thought would always be there, I grew up. I took a look at myself from an outside perspective and didnt really like what I saw. Its not like I was a bad person or anything, but more like wasting alot of time on things that didnt matter. I started to change everything about myself, all for the better. I could take it back to the begining of me moving to Chicago but who really wants to go back that far. Im going to start you off where it gets good ;)
